The University of Hawaii at Hilo soccer teams came up goose eggs Thursday at Azusa Pacific (Calif.).

Oktay Bulut scored twice and Colton Lamb also netted a first-half goal as the Cougars beat the UHH men 3-0 in a Pacific West Conference match.

The Cougars (7-3, 4-1 PacWest) held a 16-14 shots advantage to send the Vulcans (3-4, 1-3) to their third straight loss.

The Lady Vulcans (4-4-3, 1-0) also lost 3-0, their third consecutive defeat in which they failed to score a goal.

Alyx Williams scored twice and Katelyn Rogers added a goal in the 89th minute for the Cougars (6-1-1, 4-0-1).

UHH was outshot 29-5.

The mainland trip concludes Saturday at Dixie State.
